If you do not know what SEO is I can always explain it in another post, with detailed information on it. I study this in my spare time.
Here are some very simple ways to increase your SEO Drastically.
SEO is managed by the Search Engines bots that register the text of your site. Not just the physical text, but the coding of the text as well. If you manage the Meta Description of your website, or if you are using forumotion ACP>>General>>Forum Promotion>>Search Engines then edit the tags. Make them general search terms that you would add to google. For example, a forum promotion site such as this tags would look similar to this: promotion, forum, advertise, advertisements, forum advertise, forum promotion. The reason I repeat the forum, is because forum, is a tag alone, but forum promotion, is a totally separate tag. You will need to know this for the best SEO Management.
Allowing tags on your forums, If you have a forum software look up a simple tagging system for your forum. If you are using Forumotion allow Descriptions to be enabled. This will give the users the chance to add a short description, or tag what their post is. This will have a drastic change to your SEO. Example would be http://zombiediscussion.com/index.php?th...ctures.48/ The Title brings in a lot of traffic to the search engines alone, but the added tags have gained me around 600-1,000 impressions via SEO alone.
