Hello! Topic title says it

I prefer all of them actually.

=> Member: you can have fun on the forum and be part of a big family and community with your other fellow members.

=> Moderator: you can be a role model for the forum. Help out the community and deal with rule breakers.

=> Admin: you have total control. You can do whatever you like really.

Ok, in general I like to be helpful. To be a moderator on a forum, it's needed to be active. I like to be active, for demonstrate admin that I'm good to be moderator. (This is just an example, this doesn't meant I want to be a moderator right now.)

Yeah, after you can get promoted.

I prefer being a member on most of the forums its because I can't stay active on some forums due to lot of activities I'm doing, though I prefer being a moderator on 1-2 forums only, that only I can handle. (Being a GMod on the support forum is already enough to handle) )

I think that being a moderator has its responsibilities and sometimes they can be difficult to handle.

Yes really,lots of pressure too, just like on the support forum, there are lots of members who hates me just because I enforce the rules to them Haha, I just laugh at them(just kidding ). But when I'm a staff member/moderator on a forum, I take the job really seriously though I can be really funny sometimes

Eh, enforcing rules is part of the job I guess.

Though I do try to be friendly when I'm handing out reminders.

And yeah, I try to remain quite professional but sometimes I do throw in a bit of humour in there to give it a more 'personal' and 'friendly' feeling!

Honestly, I love all roles!

Admin can be challenging, yet rewarding if your forum takes off. Moderation is great if you really love being part of a forum and can help with keeping it running smoothly. And as Base previously stated, being a member means you can have a great time and be part of the family.

I agree with you, I would actually like to be a Member, and help around whenever I feel like it.

I'll be perfectly honest and tell you I have been a Admin for over 4 years and prefer to be an Admin when on a forum.

I have dealt with all kinds of people. Some of you that have seen me on Formotion forum don't know how I ever got there and why I have a forum. I'll make this short as to not put you to sleep.

There is a game site called "ItsYourTurn.com" and they had message boards 4 years ago, then they decided to shut them down because the flamewars were completely out of hand. Yes I got involved in some of them but never got a warning and was never banned. They pretty much let people say what they wanted and cursing was allowed to an extent. Anyway, one month before they shut the boards down they announced that if anyone had a forum or message boards and wanted to advertise the sites to send them a PM and they would add it to a page on there game site. So I liked the idea and saw that as a huge opportunity to get a forum advertised on a large commercial game site. So I created a forum at "Aceboards" and sent them my link. About 10 people had forums listed on that site and mine was one of them. I was surprised more people didn't get there forums added because the site has millions of active members.

Then one of the forums (not mine) was bad mouthing the owner of the game site and he found out about it and removed EVERYONES links from his site. I sent him a PM and asked what happened, and he told me the story, he said he felt it best to not have any sites listed on his game site. Anyway, a year later I moved off of Aceboards to a new sever "Forumotion" because Aceboards was having terrible connection problems and it went on and on for months and they never would address the problem. All the forums on the Aceboard server were having problems. So I went looking for a new forum. I found forumotion and WOW was I impressed. Moved all my members over there but some never made the transfer.

Woow, it's interesting,runawayhorses. Sin, you wasn't on forumotion before advertises was listed.
